So I came to canada from Australia today and had gotten a code from virgin mobile to unlock my phone for use here. I went to a rogers mobile store (the only company localy I can use for my particualr card apparantly) and bought a card and registered my phone. the clerk instructed me to turn…

AT&T to buy Centennial for $944 million
AT&T Inc. said Friday it will buy wireless and broadband services provider Centennial Communications Corp. for $944 million in cash. Dallas-based AT&T said the deal will help expand its wireless coverage in areas of the Midwest and Southeast as well as Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands. Centennial has about 1.1 million wireless customers.
